About us
GatherRelay started in a church streaming booth.
We streamed our services to YouTube and Facebook every week. The streaming services we used cost $25 to $50 a month on top of the church internet bill, and the picture still stuttered. For a small church, that was too much, so we stopped.
So we built our own: a relay that takes one upload from the church and sends it on in full quality, on servers that cost a few dollars a month to run. GatherRelay offers the same to other churches at a price close to what it costs us, enough to keep the servers running and add new locations.
Our first churches are in the United States and Pakistan. Support is answered by church volunteers who stream every Sunday themselves.
